The Lounge Singer
The Lounger Singer is a performance piece that straddles theatre, performance art, and cabaret. A has been (or more accurately, a never was something) Hotel Lounge Singer has an existential crisis every time she tries to sing. Will she sing or will she crumble under the weight of the world? The Lounge Singer is an attempt for the artist to come to grips with how society and culture affect her life internally. The Lounge Singer switches between comedic absurdity and gut punching drama.
